Description
【Structure & Form】
Substantial Slab Headboard: The headboard is crafted from a thick solid wood plank with a clean, flat profile. This “one-plank” design language puts the material itself front and center, conveying a grounded and commanding presence.
Splayed Cylindrical Legs: Four robust cylindrical legs flare slightly outward, forming a classic trapezoidal support structure. This not only enhances stability and anti-wobble performance but also nods to Mid-Century Modern aesthetics.
Fully Skirted Base: The side rails feature an enclosed skirt that conceals the under-bed structure, creating a cohesive, tailored silhouette.
【Materials & Details】
Selected Laotian Teak: The entire frame is crafted from premium Laotian Teak, a prized Southeast Asian hardwood. Slow-growing with high density and rich natural oils, it displays a golden-brown to deep chocolate hue with flowing grain patterns (often “mountain-water” or ink-line figures). Naturally moisture-resistant, termite-proof, and rot-resistant, it develops a richer patina over time — rightly dubbed the “King of Woods.”
Pure Solid Wood, No Upholstery: The bed is entirely free of fabric or leather — a pure wood expression. Natural knots and grain variations are preserved, making each bed unique and embodying an Eastern “let nature be” philosophy.
